At SpaMedica, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the risks surrounding modern slavery are identified and mitigated to the best of our ability. We will not knowingly deal with any business involved in slavery, forced labour or human trafficking, and instead support ethical business practises and policies. We complete due diligence checks on any new supplier or organisation, categorising the supplier by risk category. We carry out regular audit work on all high and medium risk suppliers to provide reasonable assurances. Our anti-slavery policy is published for all employees, with specific mandatory training provided, encouraging employees to report any concerns surrounding modern slavery. The published statement on modern slavery is prepared in accordance with s54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, reviewed and updated annually and approved by the board.
