Our hospital is situated just off Old Hall Road (A6144), which is ideally located adjacent to Junction 6 of the M60. As you enter SpaMedica Sale, on site car parking facilities are available and access is from the main entrance which is clearly signed. The car parking facilities are free of charge and our hospital is located on the ground floor.
The nearest bus stop to SpaMedica Sale is located on Wythenshawe Road, just off
Old Hall Road, Stop B. Bus 18 has a service around every hour and our hospital is a

If you live in England, all you need to do is let your optician or GP know which healthcare provider and hospital location you would like to have your cataract treatment at, and they’ll send a referral to your chosen provider. You should hear back from your provider within two to three weeks following your referral. The only suitable treatment for cataracts is surgery. It is one of the safest surgeries you can have and is also the most common operation performed in the UK today, taking up to only 20 minutes for routine cases. The cloudy lens is removed and replaced with an artificial lens (implant). This is normally done under a local anaesthetic using eye drops to numb the eye.
